How is this possible?

I think I found a cheater. How do I report him?

How can I cancel units in training/buildings in production?

Why am I losing Power?

Everything in your kingdom requires power. As you build more buildings, more military units, and gain more civilians, your power needs will raise. What once could be powered on 100 power plants may now need 200 power plants to power. You also consume power with your shields when activated. If you turn your shields on, and have them set too high, it could cause you to start losing power. Be carefull, as if your power drops down to 0, you receive a -20% to both your offensive and defensive attack power.

[Top]
How did I get succesfully attacked by someone who sent less than half the amount of units that I had?

When attacking with 4 generals, it automatically splits your units into 4ths, and makes some generals come home faster then others. The person who attacked you probably attacked you with 4 generals, thus is why his largest army out is only a 4th the size of yours. See attack help for more information on how this works.

[Top]
Where can I go to post my idea's or bugs I've found?

Go to the Public forums, and choose the Bugs and Suggestions forum. There you can post your idea's and any bugs you may have found.

[Top]
How do I change my email address?

Unfortunately, you are currently not able to change your email address due to the fact that it would promote account swapping by others who want to get in specific sectors.

[Top]
Why does my networth go down when I purchase units or buildings?

Your networth consists of everything you currently own including soldiers, military troops, money, power, land, buildings, and anything else you can think of. When you decide to train military units, you lose 2 things. You lose the money you spent on them, and you lose the soldiers you started to train. Until those soldiers have completed training, you are short the money, and the soldiers. Once the soldier finishes his training into whatever you decided to train him to do, you will gain your score back, plus a little more for investing into a better unit. Anytime you spend your money your score will go down temporarily as you are losing money and not gaining anything in return until the building finishes it's construction, or the unit gets out of training, or you finish exploring the additional land.

[Top]
Why does my research go down?

Your research for Money bonus, Population bonus, Power bonus, and Military bonus are all based on how large your kingdom is. The more land you have, means the more power plants you have to keep upgraded, the more jobs you will need to provide for people to pay taxes, the more population you will have to deal with, and the more military you have to keep on their toes. Because of this fact, your scientist's jobs are never finished. You will find that you constantly have to keep your scientists working on these if you want to keep them maxed.

[Top]
What does it mean when someone has a negative amount of tanks home?

This is caused when someone sends out all of their tanks to attack someone, and then after attacking, they choose to disband their tanks. Because they can't yet send the tanks out to be dismantled until the tanks arive back home from their war, the person will have a negative amount of tanks left at home. Once the tanks return home, they will be dismantled until that number goes to 0.

[Top]
Why do I have to wait 24 hours before my account is deleted?

This does two things for you.

It allows you the time frame to recover your account in case you didn't want to delete it, or recover it incase another got access to your account and tried to delete it.

It allows people time to retaliate on those who decide to suicide all of their units and then delete.

[Top]
Why do I have to wait 24 hours before my account goes into Vacation Mode?

Vacation mode was added as a convenience for those who have to go on trips and such, not allowing them to gain access to a computer. We do not want vacation mode to be taken advantage of by someone attacking, and then going into vacation mode instantly after, so that the enemy can not retaliate. With the 24 hour time period, if someone decides to attack you and go into vacation mode, their account is still vulnerable for the first 24 hours, so you can still retaliate if you wish. After that 24 hour period has past, the account will go into vacation mode and be safe from attacks.

[Top]
Is there any way to defend from Missle Attacks?

Yes. You can activate shields to defend against Missle Attacks and even Military Attacks. The amount of power you supply will determine the percentage of defense you will have. See Shields Help for more details.

[Top]
Why can't I research Energy Core?

You must complete research on Fusion Technology before Energy Core will be visible to research. See Research Help for more information.

[Top]
How long do kingdoms stay in dead status before they are removed from the sector?

Kingdoms stay in dead status for a period of 5 days, or until the user tries logging in again to find their kingdom is dead (whichever comes first). If the user logs in before that 5 day period, they will get a message stating their kingdom has been killed off and the kingdom will be deleted immediately afterwards. If the user does not log in within the 5 day period, the account will be deleted after the 5 day period is up.

[Top]
I probed somebody and it showed they had a negative number of military units. How is this possible?

This person more then likely made an attack recently, and then chose to disband some of their army. If they attacked with all of their units, and then disbanded half of them, it would show them as having a negative amount of units at home, and a positive number of units out with a general. When that general returns home with the units, the two will cancel eachother out, giving you the actual remaining units.

[Top]
I think I found a cheater. How do I report him?

Currently we have methods of catching people with multiple accounts, so if you think someone has multiple accounts, there is no need to report it as we will more then likely catch them with our tools if they are truly cheating in this way. If you think you have found a bug, or something that someone has been exploiting, giving them an unfair advantage that others did not have, you are more then welcome to report it in the bugs and suggestions forums.

[Top]
How can I cancel units in training/buildings in production?

Currently there is not a way to cancel troops in training/buildings in production. One may be implemented in the future, but for right now, your best bet is to make sure you have the correct number in the box before you submit your request to train/build.

[Top]

If you have any questions post here

Preferences

Contact Information:

Your Kingdom's Information screen will show your contact information to anyone who views it. If you would like to make your IM id or email address made available to anyone who plays Star Kingdoms just enter in the information here.

Kingdom Logo:

In Star Kingdoms v2.0 a kingdom can have a customizable logo to represent his/her kingdom. This logo will show on your kingdom information screen and in the Sector and Alliance forums. Your logo must follow the game rules and please remember this game is G-rated. Your kingdom can be disabled based on the kingdom logo so be careful.

To set your kingdom logo you first need to get the image on the internet using a free image/website hosting service or your personal server.

You must include the full URL (this includes the beginning http://) and the image must be in PNG, JPG (JPEG), or GIF format. The size is limited to 100x100 (Width x Height) and 12K (12,288 bytes).

You may encounter errors in setting the image. The reasons for the error may include:

- Your host doesn't allow remote linking. You will be able to view the image in your browser line, but it won't allow StarKingdoms to link to it.
- You entered in the URL wrong. Make sure you include the correct sub domain. ie (http://starkingdoms.com is NOT the same as http://www.starkingdoms.com).
- Make sure the image is actually in PNG, JPG, or GIF format. It may end in the correct filename but that does not make it the correct format.
- If the file size is larger than 12K it will not keep checking the link to see how big it is in total. This would be a waste of bandwidth. Try to reduce your image below 12K if you get a filesize too big error.

Kingdom Signature:

A kingdom signature is show at the end of all your messages and on your kingdom information screen. It is limited to 128 characters (5 lines) and can include BBCode.

Kingdom Options:

If kingdom, sector, and alliance logo's are taking too long to load because you have a slow Internet connection then you will probably want to disable them.

Star Kingdoms uses cookies to manage sessions. If you would like Star Kingdoms to remember your account name (default) make sure the box is checked. If you are on a public computer and don't your account name to be public make sure the box is not checked. Settings won't be put into effect until the next time you login.

Vacation Mode

If you plan on being away from your computer for a few days and don't want your kingdom to be left helpless, you can put it into Vacation Mode. To do this, simply click on Activate Vacation Mode. Once activated, this will put your account into a pending vacation status for 24 hours. During this 24 hours, your kingdom is still gaining resources, land from research, and building military. While pending, your account is considered a fully active account to all others in the game, therefore you can also be attacked. You may not log into your account within this 24 hour period or it will cancel vacation mode and you will have to start the countdown over again.

Once your account has successfully been put into vacation mode, it will be frozen in time, not gaining or losing money/power. You will also be fully protected as if you are in newbie status. For the first 48 hours after the pending vacation mode status has been completed, you will be unable to log into your account whatsoever. It will be completely locked. After this 48 hour period has gone, you may deactivate your vacation mode whenever you wish, simply by logging into your account. Once you have logged into your account, the vacation mode is instantly disabled and your account returns to it's normal status. You will then have to start the process over again if you wish to go back into vacation status.

NOTICE: You can only be in Vacation Mode for 14 days. If you have not logged into your account within 14 days, your account will be deleted.

Change Password

This is where you can change your password. It's pretty self explanatory. Simply enter in your old password (the one you are currently using) and then enter in your new password in both boxes below (the one you wish to change your password to). Click on change password, and it will be done. A confirmation message will also be emailed to you with your new password.

Deleting your account

If you decide you no longer wish to play and decide to delete your account, you may do it here. Type in your password and click on Delete Account. It will pop up a message asking you to confirm deletion of your account. If so, click Confirm Deletion. This will log you out of the game and put your account into a deletion status. If you do not log in within 24 hours, your account will be deleted. If you change your mind and decide you don't want to delete your account, simply log back in before the 24 hour period has passed, and your account will be instantly removed from deletion status.

WARNING: ONCE YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELETED, IT CAN NOT BE RESTORED.

Shields

A kingdom can use any extra power they are producing towards powering the defense energy shields. You cannot send aid if the destination kingdom is not in trouble status. Trouble status can be defined as follows:

A meter that lowers every hour until it reaches zero.
When you get attacked or probed the meter raises.
Once the meter reaches a certain peak it freezes for 12 hours and that kingdom enters trouble status.
After the 12 hours, the meter resets to zero.

There is no limit on how much you can send EXCEPT for population. The reporting tool is there to help resolve language abuse in game. It is not there as a tool to try and make contact with an admin. This is part of the game. As in any multi-player games, you will always have people who want to help you and people who want to kill you. There is nothing wrong with someone threatening to attack your kingdom.

Sector foums

Sector Forums:

To organize and maintain a strong sector you need communication. The Sector Forums are the "built-in communication." You are still welcome to use great programs like ICQ and MSN Messenger, but the forums are built into the game and don't require much effort, just a browser. You could even use the forums to set up meetings on external communication services. The forums may get disorganized and messy, that is one of the reasons you vote for a sector leader. The sector leader or the vice sector leader has access to delete posts and remove threads.

How to post and view messages:

In Star Kingdoms v2.0 a new upgraded forums was implemented. They are now similar to more popular forum programs. Each kingdom gets it's own Kingdom Logo and topics are separated into 20 posts per page. To post a new topic simply go to the Topic Directory (the first page that you see when you click Sector Forums. Scroll to the bottom and type in your topic (50 characters maximum) and then type in your message (5,000 characters maximum).

To post a reply simply view the topic you want to reply to and then scroll to the bottom and type in the message. Your reply will be added to the last page.

To navigate through pages is relatively simple. To change pages just follow the links. Each page holds 20 messages and the Replies counter starts at 0 when you post a new topic. So there will be a new page on the 20th reply, 40th reply, 60th reply, etc.

BBCode:

BBCode is a term used through out the Internet that stands for Bulletin Board Code. HTML is not allowed in messages because of the security risk it poses. However, you can still add style to your posts by using BBCode. It's similar to HTML but you use square brackets "[" instead of a "<".

To use BBCode you must open the style and then close the style properly. For example if you want to make your sentence bold first you open it with a "[b]", type in the text and then close it with a "[/b]".

BBCode syntax:

Type Syntax Example Code Example Output
Bold Open: [b], Close: [/b] Universal Domination is [b]imminent[/b], my friend. Universal Domination is imminent, my friend.
Italic Open: [i], Close: [/i] Universal Domination is [i]imminent[/i], my friend. Universal Domination is imminent, my friend.
Underline Open: [u], Close: [/u] Universal Domination is [u]imminent[/u], my friend. (Links to alliance [Admin]).

Sector Link:

Make sure to use ":" as the separator between galaxy and sector. The output of [s]1:1[/s] would look like this:
Sector Link: (1:1)

Kingdom Link:

This one is a little harder to figure out than the Sector Link. To link to a kingdom you must include the code that the server would normally send to the Kingdom Information script. The URL to a Kingdom Information screen ends with whois.php?l=1:1&p=20. The correct kingdom link to use is: "[k]l=1:1&p=20[/k]". If you get this syntax wrong the link will not work. l is the sector and p is the sector position of the kingdom. A kingdom at the bottom of the sector list has a sector position of 20.

The output of [k]l=1:1&p=20[/k] would look like this:
Kingdom Link: (l=1:1&p=20)

Alliance Link

Just simply type the alliance name between the tags. The output of [a]Admin[/a] would look like this:
Alliance Link: [Admin]

Sector Polotics

What is a Sector Leader:

In order for a Sector to work as a unified whole it needs a leader. Kingdoms in the sector decide who is the leader. When one runs for Sector Leader they usually run campaigns in the forums and send direct personal messages. The Sector Leader gets to moderate the sector forums, gains a +10% military effectiveness bonus for both offense and defense, has the ability to change the Sector Name, and can choose what alliance the sector joins.

Voting for a Sector Leader:

To vote for a Leader select the name of the kingdom you wish to be leader in the pull down menu, then click on change vote. This will add + one to whoever you're voting for. The kingdom with the most votes automatically becomes Sector Leader.

Vice Sector Leader:

The Vice Sector Leader is selected by your Sector Leader as second in command. The Vice Sector Leader is able to moderate the forums and does not get any bonuses. The Vice Sector Leader gets the title in the Alliance Forums and Sector Forums and will have more responsibility for organization in the sector.

Sector Leader Tools

If you are sector leader, in addition to having the above options, you will also have 3 additional options.

The first option will be to choose a name for your sector. Simply type in the name you wish the sector to be called (the name that is displayed at the top of the sector under Your Sector). If you wish to change it again, you can return to this menu at any time, and change it whenever you like.

You can also change the log in message for your sector. This log in message will be displayed to every kingdom in your Sector when they log in. It is limited to 255 characters and can include BBCode.

The third option is the Sector Logo. A Sector Logo is like a banner for your Sector. Everyone who is browsing through your Sector will see the image at the top of the page. You must follow the Game Rules when selecting a Sector Logo. Remember that this is a G-Rated game.

To set your Sector Logo you first need to get the image on the internet using a free image/website hosting service or your personal server.

You must include the full URL (this includes the beginning http://) and the image must be in PNG, JPG, or GIF format. The size is limited to 500x100 (Width x Height) and 32K (32,768 bytes).

- Make sure the image is actually in PNG, JPG (JPEG), or GIF format. It may end in the correct filename but that does not make it the correct format.
- If the file size is larger than 32K it will not keep checking the link to see how big it is in total. This would be a waste of bandwidth. Try to reduce your image below 32K if you get a filesize too big error.

Sector States:

The Sector Leader can decide what sector state to put the sector in. Each sector state has bonuses and/or disadvantages. Below is a table containing a description and list of the effects of the sector state.

Sector State Effects Description
None No effects. The people act as they would normally.
Growth 2x birth rate
Exploration costs halved (up to 1000 land)
Defensive casualties increased by 10%
Perfect for young Sectors. The civilians are set out to explore new lands and expand the kingdom.
Mobilization Units trained in 12 hours
Barracks hold 85 instead of 75
Only 3 useable War Leaders
Preparations before war. Your civilians will quickly build up an army but it one war leader is held back to oversee the production.
Offensive +10% Land gains (for example: a kingdom would gain 11% of total land.)
+10% offensive casualties
No MA protection (In defense)
Your kingdom is armed and ready for battle. Increase your Land Gains but suffer 10% more casualties.
Defensive Military shields always at full power (No energy cost)
-25% Defensive casualties
Only 2 useable war leaders
Your kingdom is ready for defensive battles. One war leader is required to oversee that Military Shields are always at 10% and another to reduce defensive casualties.

Alliances

Once your sector has joined an alliance, you will be seeing this page a lot. Only the alliance leader and vice alliance leader can delete posts.

Joining an Alliance

This option is only available to Sector Leaders, and will not even be displayed if you are not a sector leader. To join an alliance, you must have the password from the alliance leader. Once the password has been obtained, in the alliance box, type in the name of the alliance (remember this is case sensitive, so if the alliance name has capital letters spread out through it, make sure to put those in, or it will not find the alliance). Put the password in the box below (also case sensitive), and click Join Alliance. If all goes well, and the password was correct, you will have joined the alliance.

Alliances can only have a maximum of 40 sectors. If you are the 41st sector to try and join you will not be able to join.

Creating your own Alliance

You do not need to be a Sector Leader to create your own alliance. Your sector must be in the alliance in order to view the alliance forums. To create an alliance, type in the name of the Alliance you wish to make, and a password you wish to use for it and click on Create Alliance. This will create your alliance.

Modifying your Alliance

If you wish to change your alliance password, remove a sector from the alliance, or delete the alliance, you must enter the Alliance Control Center. To do so, simply type in your alliance name in the box and click on Access Alliance Control Center. This will only work from your account however. It recognizes you based on your login name, so it will not allow you to log in from your friends account. Once in this tool, you will have the option to remove sectors from your alliance, change the password, or delete the alliance all together.

Alliance Relations

If you are the leader of an alliance and your alliance has 5 or more sectors in it then you can set relations with another alliance. These relations may be of peacefull or aggresive intentions.

Relation Type Advantages/Disadvantages Rules Extra
War +20% attack gains
+10% military offense
Must be at war for a minimum of 48 hours.
Cannot be at peace with the other alliance
War cancels all other relations
You can only set war with 1 alliance. But if another alliance declares war on you, then you automatically set war on them.

Peace 25% military defense
-10% military offense
-30% attack gains
Must be at peace for a minimum of 48 hours
You can only set peace with 1 alliance.

NAP You cannot attack, probe, or launch a missile against any kingdoms in the alliance you have a NAP with.
Both sides must accept the NAP before it is active
You can have an unlimited amount of NAP treaties.

Ally -50% attack gains
any attack made goes into the alliance news
Both sides must accept the Ally before it is active
You can have an unlimited amount of Allies.

Alliance MotD:

Alliance Message of the Day is for Alliance Leaders to let everyone in the alliance know of the latest news. An alliance leader can use this, for example, to select a target to kill off.
The alliance MotD is limited to 255 characters and can include BBCode.

Alliance Logo:

To set your alliance logo you first need to get the image on the internet using a free image/website hosting service or your personal server.

You must include the full URL (this includes the beginning http://) and the image must be in PNG, JPG, or GIF format.

Missle room

If you want to destroy someones population or land without the risk of sending out your armies you can use missiles. Missiles can only be used in war but are an effective weapon if you use them correctly. You are limited to 1 missile strike every 24 hours so make sure you do the maximum damage each interval. Below is a table of the missiles available to you, costs, and required research in order to produce them.

Periodic Table of Missiles

Missile Type Cost Damage per missile Maximum Damage Required Research
Nuclear Missile 5,000 money 2 land, 150 population 0.5% of land, 5% of population Nothing
Fusion Missile 16,000 money 4 land, 400 population 1% of land, 2.5% of population Fusion Technology
Energy Missile 15,000 money, 10,000 power 8 land, 1,000 population 1% of land, 5% of population Energy Core Research

Attacking with Missiles:

In order to attack with a missile your Alliance must first be at war with the target Alliance. If this is true it should tell you below the Kingdom pull down select list. Choose a target, calculate how many missiles you want to send, and click Launch Missile Strike. You are limited to one missile strike every 24 hours.

Calculating how many to send:

In the table above it tells you the damage and maximum damage. I will include a couple examples:

If the target has 1,000 land and 50,000 population. You have 5,000 nuclear missiles.
To do the maximum damage possible: 0.5% land, 5% population. You'd have to send 17 missiles. (5 land, 2,500 pop)
To do the maximum land damage possible: 0.5% land. You'd have to send 3 missiles. (5 land, 750 pop)

If you include all 3 of the missile types you can do a max damage of 2.5% land and 12.5% population.

To do the maximum land damage to the above target you would have to send
3 nuclear missiles (0.5% land = 5 land / 2 damage = 3 missiles)
3 fusion missiles (1% land = 10 land / 4 damage = 3 missiles)
2 energy missiles (1% land = 10 land / 8 damage = 2 missiles)

With this example the total damage is 25 land and 3,650 population.

Defending against a Missile:

If a whole sector decides to launch missiles on one kingdom it could be destroyed very quickly. That is why there is a defense. Shield technology allows for defensive shields to be activated. These shields when fully charged will detonate approximately 50% of all missiles that come into contact with it, before they reach your kingdom to do damage.

Attack room

Choosing a target:

When trying to find a target to attack it is best to go to My Sector and put in random galaxies and sectors. If your kingdom's leader has decided to wage war on only one sector you may want to consider giving help to the cause. Just remember when choosing a target, the more Land the target has, the more you will gain from an attack.

Targets that are attacked by everyone in your kingdom are weaker and easier to defeat, however, due to MA protection, may cause you to get less land than another target who has not been hit. You may want to consider the pro's and con's of attacking a kingdom that's already recently been hit a few times, as it can mean up to 50% less land taken on your attack.

Attack the target:

To attack a target that you have selected you will need to enter in the Galaxy number and Sector Number, then hit Change Sector. Then you use the Option List to select the target. Type in the amount of each military unit you wish to send out and hit 'Send Out Attack'. This will cause all of the chosen units to attack the desired target and if the attack is successfull you will gain land, money, captured civilians, and power.

War Honor:

War Honor is gained in battle. Honor cannot be created or destoryed (except when a kingdom dies or is created). Honor is only transferred. Honor is gained in honorable victories. If a kingdom has a high amount of honor they will gain bonuses. Twice as much honor is gained in WAR.

Calculations:

Target Networth (Their networth compared to your networth) Honor Gained (From target kingdom)
Less than 25% None
26-49% 1.25%
50-69% 2.50%
70-89% 5.00%
90-99% 7.50%
100% and up 10.0%

War Honor Bonuses:

Kingdom's War Honor Bonus
0-599 -5.0% Income
600-1199 -2.5% Income
1200-1500 None
1501-1800 +2.5% Income
1801-2100 +5.0% Income
2101-2400 +5.0% Income, -5.0% Training Costs
2401-2700 +6.0% Income, -5.0% Training Costs
2701-3000 +7.0% Income, -5.0% Training Costs
3001-3300 +8.0% Income, -5.0% Training Costs
3301-3600 +9.0% Income, -5.0% Training Costs
3601-5000 +10.0% Income, -5.0% Training Costs
5001+ +10.0% Income, -10.0% Training Costs

Why send out more than one general?

For each general you send out after your first one your army is 3% more effective. Remember however, you only have a total of 4 generals that you can use at any given time. If you send all 4 generals out on 1 attack, you will have to wait until at least one of them gets home before you can make an additional attack.

Sending out more generals also causes your armies to return faster in portions. For example, if your return time from an attack is 16 hours and you send 1 general with 10,000 tanks, your attack would look something like this:

Home Leader Leader #2 Leader #3 Leader #4 Leader #5
Status AVAILABLE (0) UNAVAILABLE (16) AVAILABLE (0) AVAILABLE (0) AVAILABLE (0)
Soldiers 0 0 0 0 0
Troopers 0 0 0 0 0
Dragoons 0 0 0 0 0
Tactical Fighter 0 0 0 0 0
Tanks 0 10,000 0 0 0
Note: The numbers between the ( ) equal the return time in hours of each general and each of the troops.

If you sent 4 generals with that identical attack, your return trip would instead look something like this:

Home Leader Leader #2 Leader #3 Leader #4 Leader #5
Status AVAILABLE (0) UNAVAILABLE (16) UNAVAILABLE (12) UNAVAILABLE (8) UNAVAILABLE (4)
Soldiers 0 0 0 0 0
Troopers 0 0 0 0 0
Dragoon 0 0 0 0 0
Tactical Fighter 0 0 0 0 0
Tanks 0 2500 2500 2500 2500
Note: The numbers between the ( ) equal the return time in hours of each general and each of the troops.

Attacking smaller targets:

Although attacking a smaller target may be easier, the smaller the target in comparison to your size, the more units you will lose in combat. You will usually find it more beneficial to attack those around your size, not only because of less tank loss, but also because targets around your size will more than likely give you larger amounts of land.

Attacking targets with no units home:

If you happen to get lucky and come accross a target who's sent too many units out leaving themselves open, you may be tempted to take advantage of this. Don't under-estimate the power of it's people however. Even without military defense, the people will still put up a fight against you. For every land the target has, the target gains 2 defensive points. This only takes effect if the total defense points of military is lower then total defense points of land.

If someone has 100 soldiers and 250 land home, then the he has a total of 500 defensive points. Land (250) * 2 = 500. Because the land put off more total defense then the soldiers, the soldiers are considered void. Now if the person had 501 soldiers and 250 land, then he would have 501 defensive points. 501 soldiers = 501 defensive points, which is more than total land defense, therefore land defense is void. Only one is calculated into the matter and are never added together with eachother. Whichever defense is the greater number will be the one you must calculate your attack on.

After Attacking:

After you attack the enemy it will give you a status report stating how many units you lost in combat and whether your strike was successful or not. If you were successful at overcoming the enemy, the report will show you how much money, land, power, and captured civilians you have gained.

Remember, attacking with military is not the only way to cripple the enemy. There are different attacks like the Probe's Suicide and Missiles.

What is MA Protection?

MA Protection is a method of trying to lower the losses of someone who has been attacked multiple times. If you get attacked, your MA protection level will rise. The higher your MA level rises, the less land someone can take per attack. After so many attacks, you will be put into a trouble status and your sector will be alerted through Sector News. This will allow you to receive aid from other sector members such as money, population, power, and soldiers.

MA Protection will raise higher on some attacks vs others, based on the size of the enemy and the victim. The larger the enemy is in comparison to the victim, the faster MA protection will go up per attack. If you get put into trouble status, you will remain in that status for 12 hours, allowing sector members enough time to send you resources if needed.

Every hour, your MA Protection will drop down a few % until it reaches 0%. If attacking someone who may have their MA Protection above 0%, you may want to use your probes to spy on their kingdom, to see whether or not they are worth hitting. The highest MA protection can go is 50%.

Attacking with Missiles:

Missiles are best used when at war with another sector/alliance. Unfortunately the land that is effected by the missile is completely destroyed. Missiles work similiar to regular attacks in the idea that you can only take out no more then 7% of someone's land, regardless of how many missiles you use.

Missiles can only be used in War.

Probe room

Manufacturing Probes:

Probes are manufactured by the building called Factory. Plain and simple, the more factories you have the more probes you will receive each hour. Probes are free but are also lost easily. They do not require power unless they have shields activated.

Attacking with Probes:

To attack with probes you need a target. Choose the target by browsing the sectors and galaxies. Once a target is found you can start probing their lands. The chance of a successfull probe mission depends on 4 factors:

1. How many probes you have in comparison to how much land you, or your enemy has (whoever has the most land will be what your probes are compared to).
2. How many probes the enemy has in comparison to how much land (s)he currently owns.
3. The amount of probes you send.
4. The amount of Probe Shields the enemy has.

Each kingdom gains the the ability to probe once per hour. If you do not use your probing that hour, it will be accumulated to the next hour, allowing you to probe twice on the next hour. You can only accumulate up to a maximum of 10 probe uses. If you have 10 probe uses, and do not use any that hour, the extra probe use you would have gained the next hour will be lost.

Activate extra energy shields:

You can use any excess power to better protect your probes. With extra protection probes are not lost as easily. Extra shields costs lots of power and if you don't have enough power, it will not be activated.

Probe armour research:

If you have the probe armour research your losses will be decreased by 50%.

The Options:

Spy on Kingdom Probes can take estimates of the status of any kingdom.
Spy on Sector News Probes can use the kingdom's network to steal the Sector News. Results will be either 32, 24, or 12 hours of news depending on how many probes you send.
Spy on Military Probes can take estimates of the size of an enemies military.
Spy on Buildings Probes can take estimates of the enemies buildings.
Spy on Research Probes can take estimates of the enemies research productions.
Spy on Shields Probes can take estimates of the enemies shield percentages.
Rob Banks Probes can infiltrate the enemies banking system and electronicly steal funds.
Arson Probes can light fire to the enemies Residence, destroying its population over time.
Sabotage Powerplants Probes can destroy the enemies powerplants, crippling its power supply.
Kidnappings Probes can steal the enemies population.
Suicide Attack Willing to give up a bit of probes? Or do you just want to easily destroy the enemies power. Send out a suicide attack, lose 100% of the probes sent and do damage of 2 power for every probe.

Accuracy:

Probes can only take estimates of the enemy's information, therefore, the more probes you send the more accurate the probing will be. Accuracy can vary from 95-100%.

For example if the accuracy is 95% each value in the report can be wrong by a randomness of +/- 5%. If you are acquiring information for an attack it could make a big difference to get an accuracy of 100%.

Military

Every kingdom in Star Kingdoms needs a military army so that he/she can invade other worlds or defend his/her own lands. There are 7 military units you can train. To train a military unit you need soldiers. Soldiers cost 150 money each and require Civilians. You can train a maximum of 10% of your population at any given time. 1 Soldier and a bit of money can train 1 military unit. Military units require 2 times the amount of power as population and has authorization to remove any civilians from his or her Residence. Once out to war, military units that have been dispatched are no longer home to defend you making you more vulnerable to attacks. Below is a table that represents the power and skill of all the military units. Click on the unit for extended information about it.

Military Units:

Name Power:
Offensive/Defensive Basic Cost Description Housing
Soldier 1/1 150 Basic unit, no specialty. 1
Trooper 4/0 350 Soldier trained in offensive tactics. 1
*Dragoon 5/0 450 Cyborg offensive unit. 1
Laser Trooper 0/4 400 Soldier trained in defensive tactics. 1
*Laser Dragoon 0/5 550 Cyborg defensive unit. 1
*Fighter 6/0 600 Heavily armed jet fighter with a pilot. 1
Tank 9/9 1750 Heavy armored vehicle. 2
**Tactical Fighter 12/0 1600 AI controlled Jet Fighter with upgraded weaponry. 0
Scientist 0/0 1000 This unit can not attack or defend, but can be used to research. 1

* Requires research to train
** Doesn't require soldiers to train, but instead requires space in or on an Air Support Bay. Also requires research to train.
Housing = amount of space in the Barracks required to house unit.

Disband Military:

If you have too much military population and need more space for residence, or if you just want to get rid of a unit, you can go to the disband room. Enter in the number to release for each unit and hit Disband Army. Any units you disband except soldiers or tactical fighters will return to soldiers. If you disband soldiers they will return to population. If you disband tactical fighters you will gain nothing.

Upgrade Military:

Once you have researched Dragoons or Laser Dragoons you can upgrade your Troopers or Laser Troopers. Simply enter the amount you want to upgrade and click upgrade.

You can upgrade Troopers to Dragoons with Dragoon research.
You can upgrade Laser Troopers to Laser Dragoons with Laser Dragoon research.

The cost of upgrading Laser Dragoons is 175 minus Training Camp Bonus.
The cost of upgrading Dragoons is 125 minus Training Camp Bonus.

It takes 12 hours to upgrade

Research

If you want to improve the quality of housing, power production, or income you need to create research jobs. You can train scientists from ordinary soldiers in the military room. Each scientist can research 1 point per hour. The more points you have to TOTAL LAND, the more effective the project will be.

Continual Research Job Descriptions:

Population Bonus By increasing the capacity of the Residence building, a kingdom can increase the population above normal.

Maximum 20%
Increases Population
Power Bonus More efficient fuel can be discovered to increase the power output of any given powerplant.

Maximum 50%
Increases Power
Military Strength By discovering new weapons and armour one can make there army more effective. This research will improve both your offensive and defensive military strength.

Maximum 30%
Increases Military Strength
Money Bonus Improved government projects can increase revenue. By reducing unemployment and government spending strategies more tax money can go towards construction and military.

Maximum 25%
Increases Income
Frequency Decryption Center Probes often always use the same low end frequencies to transmit data, regardless of who is using them, as the low end frequencies are the only ones capable of transmitting data at such a long distance. Although we frequently pick up signals over the radio, we are rarely able to decrypt it. Thus is why we have placed scientists on the job to monitor the waves 24/7. When successfully decrypting a transmission we can calculate how many probes were sent, what the probes were assigned to do, and who sent them.

Maximum 25%
Gives a chance at knowing who successfully probed you.
Reactor Warp Core Efficiency Through advanced research, knowledge learned in the Energy Core project, can be used to increase the speed at which our armies move.

Maximum 20%
Requires Energy Core research.
Decreases attack time.

The following research options do not compare research points to land, but only require a specific number of research points in order to obtain.

One Time Research Job Descriptions:

Dragoons Research laser scopes, electronic implants, and offensive programming for military units.

Develop Dragoon
Requires 60,000 points.
Laser Dragoons Research new armor upgrades and defensive programs.

Develop Laser Dragoon
Requires 72,000 points.
Fighters Research heavily armed jets for use in battle.

Develop Fighters
Requires 150,000 points and the research Dragoons and Laser Dragoons.
Fusion Technology Learn how to harness the power of Fusion in order to build more powerful missiles, and produce power more efficiently. Allows the production of the Fusion Missile and the Fusion Power Plant.

Develop Fusion Technology
Requires 30,000 points.
S.C.O.U.T.E.R. By sending super high speed probes out before the attacking army, you can predict how long it will take for your army to attack and return.

Develop S.C.O.U.T.E.R. Technology.
Requires 15,000 points.
Vesudian Core and AI Technology Research the ability to harness the power of the Vesudian Core, and the AI technology to control it. Allows the production of Air Support Bay's and Tactical Fighters.

Develop Vesudian Core and AI Technology.
Requires 500,000 points and the research of Fighters.
Energy Core Research the use of an advanced Energy based Core in machinery's engines and power plants. Increases power production of nuclear and fusion power plants by 20%, allows you to produce the Energy Missiles, and decreases attack time by 10%.

Develop Energy Core.
Requires 50,000 points and the research of Fusion Technology to be completed.
Probe Armor Research the use of a armor plating that can be polarized to resist energy weapons. Decreases probe losses by 50%.

Develop Probe Armor.
Requires 92,000 points and the research of Fusion Technology to be completed.
Longevity Research the health of your genetics of your civilians to increase. Increased birth rate 4X and Residences house 55 civilians instead of 50.

Develop Longevity Technology.
Requires 100,000 points and the research of Vesudian Core and AI Technology to be completed.

Buildings

Each building has a unique function in this game, and this help will display the REAL number values for each building and a description. But first how to build:

To build a building just enter in the desired number of each building and hit Construct Buildings. Above the table is a description of how much free land you have and how much you can build with your current Money. If you wish to demolish buildings so that you can build different buildings you can hit Raze Buildings at the bottom of the page.

Building Descriptions:

Residence Residence is where all your population lives. If there is not enough room in your Barracks for your military, your military will 'kick out' population from their residential homes in order to seek shelter. Population will also give you income through taxes.

Holds 50 civilians or military
Barracks This special tightly packed military facility can support any military unit including tanks. Military will move here first, but if there is no room they move to normal Residence.

Holds 75 military units
Air Support Bay* This base was specially designed to support Tactical Fighter's Vesudian Cores. Without this Air Support Bay, Tactical Fighters are rendered useless.

Holds 35 Tactical Fighters
Nuclear Power Plant This industrial building can produce 100 units of power. Up to 500 units of power can be stored in this plant. Any excess power is lost.

Produces 100 power
Stores up to 500 power
Fusion Power Plant* A new method of harvesting power, the Fusion Power Plant is capable of producing 140 power per hour, and storing up to 1000 units of power.

Produces 140 power
Stores up to 1000 power
Star Mine Another industrial building. This building provides you with resources (Money), there is no limit to the number of Star Mines you can have.

Produces 120 money
Training Camp A special building that prepares your army for military service. By default you allways have Training Camps, but if you wish to build extra you can greatly decrease the cost of training military.

Reduces cost of training. (%ofLAND * 3) Max 30%
If you had 250 land, and 25 Training Camps your military would be 30% cheaper. (25/250=10%*3=30%)
Probe Factory Another industrial building. Factories manufacture Probes. The more factories you have the more probes you will produce every day. No limit.

(50%-100%) * #ofFACTORIES = probes manufactured per hour.

* Building requires specific research to be able to be produced.

All buildings cost the same. Building Cost is related to the amount of Land you have.

Razing Buildings:

If you decide that you would like to gain some money from your buildings or if you would like to convert a building to a power plant you should raze buildings to create free land. You shouldn't use raze buildings to convert one building to another type unless it involves power plants. You should use convert buildings because it cheaper.

To raze a building simply enter in the amount of buildings and click Raze Buildings. If you enter more buildings than you have it will raze ALL your buildings of that type.

Razing profit is calculated as: Money = Money + (Building Cost / 8)

Converting Buildings:

If you decide that you would like to change one building to another type (excluding power plants) then you should use Convert Buildings. You conserve cost by reusing the materials of the old building in the new building.

Converting a building takes 24 hours.

You cannot convert a power plant because the building uses different materials.

The cost is calculated as: Money = Money - (Building Cost / 2)

Upgrade Power Plants:

Once you have completed Fusion Technology research you can upgrade your old Nuclear Power Plants to Fusion Power Plants. Fusion Power plants are more efficient and can store more power.

Upgrading a Power Plant takes 12 hours.

The cost is calculated as: Money = Money - (Building Cost / 4)

Exploring

For those who want to gain land but don't have the military power or time to search for targets, you can use the explore function. In this room you can command your people to explore for new land to build buildings on. However, the people also have other jobs and generally don't have time to explore, so you are limited to exploring only 1/10 of your total land (10%) per day. Exploring is also costly. But if you have the money it is a nice feature.

Just enter in the desired amount of land and hit Explore. Simply enter in the desired galaxy and sector number and hit Change.

This will show the sector name (which can only be changed by a Sector Leader), alliance the sector is a part of, sector logo, and a table with every kingdom, their Planet Type, how much Land they have, and their Networth in that sector.

Sector Logo's are supposed to comply with the Game Rules. If you find a Sector Logo that is inappropriate contact a Game Moderator regarding the logo.

The table has the following information about kingdoms:

Kingdom Name (Sector Coords): The kingdom's name along with their position X by Y position in the Sector. If their Sector Coords are closer to yours you will get quicker return times when attacking.
Planet Type: Planet types all have different advantages and disadvantages.
Land: Land is for buildings. A kingdom cannot grow without land.
Networth: A combination of the kingdom's land, money, military, population, and other values.
Honor: War Honor is gained through battle and provides bonuses to the kingdom. You gain more honor in battle by attacking larger targets.
Tactical: Contains links to Probe, Attack, Missile, and Message the kingdom.

The table is colour coded to show the kingdoms status. There was no need to compute every kingdom's networth every time someone views the Sector so the database now uses caching. Every thirty minutes when the cache updates so does everyone's networth and other values. So if the cache only updates every thirty minutes, then a kingdom's online indicator can be wrong. Check the Last update time at the bottom to find out when the cache was last updated.

If you want to find out if someone is really online, check out there Kingdom Information screen by clicking on the Kingdom.

Sector States:

The Sector Leader can decide what sector state to put the sector in. Every 50 wins will add 1% population bonus.
Total Losses shows how many times you have lost a defensive battle. Every 50 losses will subtract 1% population bonus.
MA Protection shows the percent of land out of the usual 10% that will not be taken if someone attacks you and successfully gets through your defenses. MA Protection goes up whenever someone successfully attacks you, or uses attack probes on you. The amount that MA Protection will go up per attack/probe depends on how big the opponent is who attacked you, and how many times he/she attacked you, or how much damage was done by the probing, and how many times it was done. The maximum MA Protection is 50%.

Construction Status:

This area gives you extended information on how many buildings you have, what % of land is used by them, how many buildings you have in production, and how long it will take for them to complete.

Military Status:

This area has a table that displays all military affairs. If your army is out to war it will show how many units are gone and when they will return.

Mobilizing Status:

This area has a table that displays extended information on how many units you have, what units are being trained, and how long until they are completed training.

24 hour economy chart:

The total population change or population change does not include population which you get from attacks/probings, only which you get at hour changes. So if you make attacks and lose the population again, it might look like you lost huge amounts of population, even if it just balanced out to the level which you have residence support for.

Explanation of Planet types

Forest and Wilderness This tropical planet is covered with dense tree's and shrubbery. Although there are a few good flat plains for building on, most of this planet has huge amounts of tree's. This makes obtaining wood, and food quite easy as you have plenty of tree's for wood, and plenty of animals to hunt for food. Many people seek this type of planet for the beautiful forests and lush greenery. Because food is abudant and comes at a low price, it makes living here a lot easier then many other places. On average, you will see Forest and Wilderness type planets with more people then any other place. Due to the small amount of flat plains to build on, and the abudant amount of wood, people have designed multiple story houses, capable of accomodating the additional 10% population in such a small place. There is a big downfall however.

Because the tree's and forest area is so dense, it makes it very easy to get lost in it. It isn't uncommon to hear of someone who wandered out into the forest and never returned. Some say they were abducted by aliens, but for the most part, people realize it's purely an issue of the inability to find your way once lost in the forest. Because the trees are so thick, there are few places in the forest that you can even see up past the branches to get a good look at the stars and figure out which direction you must go.

The forest also slows down the military a lot. Traveling through this type of land, especially with big units such as tanks, makes it difficult with so many trees to weave around. Between that, and the ease of being able to get lost, it often takes military longer then expected to return home from battle. On average, you can expect the military to arrive 10% later then normal.
Desert Wasteland This sandy planet type is usually within 2-3 planets from the sun. It is known for having frequent sand storms, that sometimes cause the cost of lives. Because of this unfortunate factor, people living on this planet type usually suffer a casualty loss of 5% total population per year.

Desert Wasteland can form a very powerful army however. Because of the sand storms, military units are trained to live, and fight in a harsher environment then those of any other planet type. They can handle the weather on almost any planet type, and they can fight better in any condition then any other army can. The people of Desert Wasteland also feel that military is power, and thus they have spent their time researching more powerful technology. They receive a 15% bonus to their attacks, and have also completed the research on Dragoon Technology.
Name Description
Volcanic Inferno Volcanic Inferno is one of the hottest planets, always within the first to second planet from the sun. The entire planet consists of active volcano's that errupt frequently. There are many places on these planet types where you can find lava rivers flowing; Truly a sight to see.

Due to the extreme heat and radiation from the sun, nobody can live unprotected in this environment. New technology was created that gave the people control of their climate. Although they can't control the entire planet's atmosphere, their cities have huge bubbles enclosing them which are controled through devices centralized in each city.

The problem came about that these devices required huge quantities of power that Nuclear Power Plants simply couldn't keep up with the demand. They spent the time researching Fusion Power Plants, and Energy Core Technology, but still that wasn't enough to do as they needed. Finally they figured out how to harness the heat from their local volcano's and convert it into power. These massive Power Cells were enough to power their Climate Control Stations, and all of the cities surrounding them. Due to the fluctuating power income from the volcano's however, they were unable to use the power to feed their planetary shields and shield their probes. Any kind of shielding always requires a constant feed of non-fluctuating power, which just wasn't the case of the Volcanic Power Cells. In order to continue shielding of anything, they still require the use of power plants.

Due to frequntly errupting volcano's, Volcanic Inferno planets usually lose approximately 15% of their population from deaths due to explosions and erruptions along with lava rivers. It truly is not a safe place to live for the people, but some just like the excitement of living in a dangerous place.
Name Description
Mystical Lands Mystical Lands are unknown as to their origin. They are known as Mystical, as they simply seem to just appear in a galaxy when they were not there the day before. Their people are also very strange. Of all planets, people of the Mystical Land appear to be the most lazy. They are always looking for the quickest and easiest way to do things. Their military goes through training as fast as possible leaving a lot of the "unimportant" stuff out, and they always do things half way.

Because of their efforts to want to get things done quickly, they spent their time researching the use of S.C.O.U.T.E.R.'s which allowed them to accurately pin point the quickest way to get from their home planet, to their target's planet. In addition, when attacking, they were always quick to run, usually causing them to miss a part of the resistance and having a second wave have to be sent in to finish off the remaining resistance. Because of their rushing strategy, they return home 40% faster then any other army would, however they suffer a 10% reduction in their military strength due to them having to send in second waves to clean out what the first was too lazy to take out in the first place.
Name Description
Mountainous These planets are usually found about 4 to 5 planets away from their sun. They have mountain ranges as far as the eye can see, and the gold fever is constantly alive here. Within each of these mountains is tons of gold, just waiting for someone to be lucky enough to find it. Most people who live here are quite stingy with their money. Money is the only thing that is on people's minds on this land type. That, and protecting their money.

Because so much time has been spent trying to retrieve the gold hidden within the mountain ranges, little time has been spent researching methods of better power sources. Because people want to save money, they use the cheapest fuel they can find to burn in the power plants, thus making it's output reduced by 15% efficiency. Although this environment is rich with gold, many people choose not to come here due to the polution from the poor use of fuel in the power plants.

Because Mountainous have so much gold within their mountains, they decided it was nessecary to build up some kinds of defense for it. They didn't want to invest the time however, in trying to research new defensive technology, so they simply purchased the Laser Dragoon Technology from another nearby planet. This planet isn't the greatest for starting a family, but it's great if you are looking to make some money.
Name Description
Oceanic This planet type is almost completely covered in water, with only a fraction of a percent of the land actually peaking out of the water.

Within the water are huge cities completely encased within gigantic domes of air. These subterranean cities are amazing, with breathable air constantly being produced within the bubble and light being channeled through lasers, powered by huge solar panels floating on the surface of the water. From these lasers, the light is channeled to the dome's optical array, and the laser is fractioned off into billions of light beams, lighting the entire city.

Don't let all of the amazing architecture and technology fool you however. It took them a lot of work to get to where they are. Because of the environment they are living under, they've had to spend atleast 30% longer than anyone else trying to develop these new technological advances. Unlike everyone else, these new structural developements, and units had to be capable of breathing and functioning underwater. Power plants are not run within the city's bubble dome but outside of it, channeling water through canals and pulling out the oxygen content in order to keep the plant running. Units who are out defending often have to spend weeks underwater without a source of oxygen to keep them alive. With each new developement, they had to implement a way for it to create it's own oxygen source, and they had to make all electrical units water tight.

There is an advantage to living in a city like this however. Due to it's depths underwater, finding the city for anyone trying to invade it was near impossible. Even with all of their technology, they find that their units just aren't cut out for underwater ventures. Electrical devices aren't quite water tight and short out frequently, troops have to keep a constant air supply on them in order to continue their invasion, and aren't conditioned for under water battles like the people of the Oceanic planet are. This gives the advantage to those who dwell within these bubble cities, as they can see the enemy coming from miles away, while the enemy wanders helplessly about in the general direction that their equipment last told them to go prior to it shorting out. On average, you will find Oceanic units 10% better at defending their land then anybody else.
Name Description
Terra Form This planet is like none seen before. This planet is man made by a powerful missile designed to form sort of a Black Hole, sucking raw material from areas far and wide. The Black Hole begins to break apart as it gets cluttered with space debris, forming a core. This core begins to grow until it's formed an ozone layer and an atmosphere.

These planet types were designed purely as research planets. A scientist's dream home, these planets were created by people with a lot of money and a strong belief in science. These planet types always have the best, state of the art equipment that can ever be found for research. Because of how well the scientists are treated, and the pure materials they are given to work with, research is on average 50% faster then any other research facilities. This however takes an impact on society.

The equipment is upgraded weekly, and costs a pretty penny to keep stocked. An average of 10% of all income is usually invested directly into the science fund in order to buy more pure material, and more powerful equipment. This is definately not the place for the poor to live, but to a wealthy science lover, this is a dream home.

Name Description
Multiple Terrain The ideal place for starting a family, these types of planets are a mix of a few volcanos, a few mountain ranges and some deserts. There is some gold to be had in the mountains, good places for military bases and training grounds, and ideal temperature for people. This land has spread it's resources pretty evenly throughout all technology. They haven't advanced in anything, nor have they declined in anything. If you had to choose where you wanted your children to grow up, it would more than likely be here.

Planet types stats

Planet Type Advantages Disadvantages Other
Forest and Wilderness +15% Population +15% Attack Time !
Desert Wasteland +17.5% Offensive Strength -5% Population Start with Dragoons
FDC research always at 25%
Volcanic Inferno -65% Power Required -15% Population Start with Fusion Technology already researched
Mystical Lands -30% Attack Time -8% Offensive Strength Start with S.C.O.U.T.E.R. and Fusion Technology already researched
Mountainous +15% Income -25% Power Production Start with Laser Dragoons
Oceanic +20% Defensive Strength +10% Research Required !
Terra Form +75% Research Efficiency -5% Income Start with 1000 research points in Pop, Power, Military, and Money
Multiple Terrain None None Start with Dragoons, Laser Dragoons, and Vesudian Core and AI Technology at 50%

How to play the game

Welcome to the interactive online world of Star Kingdoms. Star Kingdoms is a free online game that does not consist of turn taking. It is REAL TIME! You make one move and you get an instant reaction.

How to play:

To play you must create an account. You can do this Here. After you have created an account head back here and find out how to start playing the kingdom that you just made. While playing, if you need any help, there are links on each page that should explain what you are looking at and how to use it.

The Basics:

You are a kingdom in a sector of 19 other kingdoms. The sector is located in a galaxy. Each galaxy contains 40 other sectors. If properly organized each sector will have a Leader that names the sector and controls the diplomatics of your sector. Your kingdom is basicly a planet in a 10X10 sector map. Attack time and other factors depends on where the other kingdoms are on the sector map. Every kingdom in your sector is your ally and you will fight with them against other kingdoms or sectors to expand your size.

Your Kingdom:

Your kingdom is made up of Money, Power (energy, food), Civilians (Population), Land, War Honor, Military Units, Scientists, and Probes. When added all together in a formula you will find your Networth. The Networth (NW) is basically your kingdom size/strength. If at any point your kingdom runs out of power your shields will be disabled and your military defense and offense will be 20% weaker, you birth rate will be reduced by 90%, and your population limit will be reduced by 20%.
At the top of every page is a Header Table that displays all these values.

Other help is located through out the game, personally I would like to thank you for making this game possible.

Explanation of Newbie Mode

Newbie Mode

This page will also display whether or not you are in Newbie Status. Every new account that is created automatically goes into newbie mode for 72, 96 or 120 hours depending on the date from the games start that you signed up. Any kingdom in newbie mode can not attack, nor be attacked by any other kingdom. This also includes using probes and missiles.

As soon as you login to your account you will be asked for an activation code to activate your account. This activation code should have been sent to you in email. If you did not receive this email, double check the email address that is listed on that page, correct if necessary, and then click to have it re-sent to you. You will not have any logos unless you present them in the HQ section of our forums presentably this one. You are under strict rule and are expected to be an honorable player if you bash don’t expect to be protected. For the first month of game play you may only have one protector as this will be the most aggressive part of the game and this is best to protect the identity of our alliance. The Al and Val will select the Elite 10 players to be their officers.

Ranks

Naval:
Cadet
Marine
Marine First class
Midshipman
2nd lieutenant
1st lieutenant
Commander
Captain
Commodore
Admiral
Rear Admiral
Admiral 1-5 stars

Army:
Private
Private first class
Corporal
Sergeant
Staff sergeant
Sergeant first class
First or master sergeant
2nd lieutenant
1st lieutenant
Captain
Major
Lieutenant Colonel
Colonel
Brigadier General
Major General
Lieutenant General
General 1-5 Stars

Jobs:
Missile Silo
Offensive warrior
Intelligence
Diplomat
Main officers (10)
Defensive aid

You choose your job and message Al or VAL if a space is open you will be messaged telling you that’s your job or if the area is full you will be given other jobs to choose from in your message back. Ranks are required to be in your preferences. You become a higher rank by being submitted by the AL, VAL, the 10 officers, or your sector leader. To advance a level after being submitted you have to be able to show 10 victorious battles to the AL or VAL. You also must show your military strength to the AL or VAL there is a military requirement forum in alliance forums. Before your 1st rank is assigned you must choose to be naval or army forces message the AL or VAL to tell what you want to be then soon you will be messaged back telling you your rank. Different jobs are assigned to people in the army or navy.

Jobs:

Missile silo people are required to have 300-1000 ready missiles at all times at the least, and alt lest 50 fusion missiles. (Nukes are weak) They may attack as they wish as long as it’s not an attack that could bring war. The AL or VAL may ask missile silo people to missile someone when the alliance is not at war.

Offensive warriors are supposed to be ready to attack someone if war breaks out and may attack and build missiles as they wish as long as they follow the rules. If you are an offensive warrior be prepared to be assigned to attack someone.

Defensive aids are required at all times to give aid to any one who might need it they must check in the aid forum and look for people who need aid. For people who need aid post you name sector and galaxy in the aid from. Aid people may also attack and fight.

Diplomats are jobs you can’t ask for they are assigned. If you are or become a diplomat you must keeps the peace with other alliances. You might be assigned to talk to a certain alliance leader for one reason or another. Other than helping keep the peace you will attack and fight regularly.

People in intelligence have to have at least 10k (10000) probes at one time. You may be asked by the AL or VAL to find something out about someone. You may attack and play normally other than you may be asked to find some Intel. on someone. People in this job have their rank forum and their Intel forum were they post the info they gather from their job. If you’re in Intel you must probe people for military strength and different things like that then post the info found in the Intel forum so people have ideas of who to attack or rob.

The main officers are hand picked by the Al and VAL each leader gets 5 and they are special forces ready to fight they help the AL and VAL in any way the are asked and can. Main officer are automatically promoted to high positions with only one show of power and skill. For example if a captain of the navy was good enough he could be picked and after showing his/her skill he/she could become a rear admiral at the lowest and it’s a very high rank. They are also required to look through forums and look for inappropriate material. The main officer(s) will tell the AL and the VAL and they will determine a punishment.

Rules:
∑ No bashing: attacking someone who has 3 times less land as you for example if I have 400 land and attack some one with 100 land that’s a bash because I have 4 times more land than them.
∑ No missiling someone with out being told to or if were not at war (if were at war you may missile the people in the alliance were at war with.) Missile silo people are the only people who will be told to missile someone without being at war with an alliance.
∑ No posting forums unless you have permission from the Al or VAL
∑ No posting in the wrong forum if you are a general you may post in the general forum. Only the AL, VAL and 10 officers may post in any forum. (Every rank has it’s own forum)
∑ No inappropriate pictures or language there are very young kids on this site and we don’t want them seeing things that are things they shouldn’t see or read at their age.
∑ No attacking inactives for 3 days they may not have the chance to get on. After 3 days they’re up for grabs.
∑ If we declare war this is what would happen. 1st the Intel teams would gather info on people, 2nd mobilizing are armies as the Intel people gather info, 3rd we target the SL and VSL of the enemy alliance and kill them if your to weak just attack other people in the enemy alliance. Once the Intel people find out info on the AL and VAL they will post it in the Intel forum for people in the alliance to view.
∑ No one but people with the job of Intelligence gathering may post in the Intel forum but every one is invited to view it to find people to attack or rob.
∑ 1-5 star generals and admirals may tell lower ranking officers who to attack after asking the AL and VAL. 1-5 star generals command troops in the army so the can’t tell and admiral what to do, and same with admirals 1-5 stars they can’t tell a brigadier general what to do.
∑ People told to attack someone must attack that person unless they’re way to weak.
∑ 1-5 star generals and admirals my tell other lower ranking people such as captains to take command of certain lower ranking officers such as 2 privates and a corporal for army and 2 cadets and a marine for navy. So they would help the commander of the assigned forces carry out the objective such as kt ing someone.
∑ No one can tell someone what to do unless okayed by the AL and VAL.
∑ Captains and lieutenants must say in there preferences what kind of lieutenant or captain they are army or navy for example if I were a navy captain in preferences I would write navy captain.
∑ If your missiled when not at war with the person who missled you, ask the AL or VAL to tell a missile silo person to retail for you. You must also show the missile report in a message to the AL or VAL then if the AL or VAL approve of the retail the person who missled will be retailed.
∑ At least 1 defensive aid per sector.

Forums:
Private forum
Private first class forum
Corporal forum
Sergeant forum
Staff sergeant forum
Sergeant first class forum
First or master sergeant forum
2nd lieutenant forum
1st lieutenant forum
Captain forum
Major forum
Lieutenant Colonel forum
Colonel forum
Brigadier General forum
Major General forum
Lieutenant General forum
General 1-5 Stars forum
Cadet forum
Marine forum
Marine First class forum
Midshipman forum
2nd lieutenant forum
1st lieutenant forum
Commander forum
Captain forum
Commodore forum
Admiral forum
Rear Admiral forum
Admiral 1-5 stars forum
Intelligence forum
Aid forum
Rank advance forum- you must be a 1-5 star general or admiral to post
Military strength forum
And of course the HQ forum
You may only post in your own rank’s forum

Go out and have a good game.

Ranks of people in the alliance

AL-Matt-5 star general
VAL-Bradley-3 star general
#1 of main officers- Justin-2 star general
#2 of main officers-Scott 1 star general
#3 of main officers-
#4 of main officers-
#5 of main officers-
#6 of main officers-
#7 of main officers-
#8 of main officers-
#9 of main officers-
#10 of main officers-

5 star general-Matt
5 star general-
5 star general-
5 star general-
5 star general-
5 star general-

4star general-
4star general-
4star general-
4star general-
4star general-
4star general-
4star general-

3star general-Bradley
3star general-
3star general-
3star general-
3star general-
3star general-
3star general-

2star general- Justin
2star general-
2star general-
2star general-
2star general-
2star general-
2star general-

1star general-Scott
1star general-
1star general-
1star general-
1star general-
1star general-
1star general-

5 star Admiral -
5 star Admiral -
5 star Admiral -
5 star Admiral -
5 star Admiral -
5 star Admiral -

4star Admiral -
4star Admiral -
4star Admiral -
4star Admiral-
4star Admiral-
4star Admiral -
4star Admiral -

3star Admiral-
3star Admiral-
3star Admiral-
3star Admiral-
3star Admiral-
3star Admiral-
3star Admiral-

2star Admiral-
2star Admiral-
2star Admiral-
2star Admiral-
